Indie Bands that blow me away, YES. So many most favorite bands with so little time. Each month I listen to new and old bands that consistently rock my world, song after song after song. And if they weren’t in my Top 10 or Top 20 before then shame on me, they are now. Hand scrawling names onto crumpled paper from my waste basket, I though this online blog documentation (whether permanent, or just temporary like everything else) would be a better way to go. So here we go:
* Black Rebel Motorcycle Club * Brian Jonestown Massacre * Deerhunter & Atlas Sound * The National * Bright Eyes * Wild Nothing * Dntel * Mogwai * Galaxie 500
Recycled Air 413, by The Postal Service from the album Give Up

This digital collage is part of my latest art project EntertainMe. Here I create another year’s worth of digital collages, based on indie rock and visual media. Also, go to my dA page to see this piece, it’s image sources & more tidbits.
To hear this great electronica song, click here. To see more music and bands I like (including Dntel, who is half of The Postal Service), click here. This is the one and only breakthrough album Dntel and Ben Gibbard did together. If you like, which I’m sure you will, don’t go cheap. Get Give Up, the Deluxe 10th Year Anniversary album (or CD). Some good remixes, b-sides and other goodies.
To view more, or god forbid, purchase any of my collages, you can contact me here with a note or through email. To buy my art in a variety of prints, go to the site Curioos. If you would rather have my collages splashed onto your phone or ipad cases, tshirts, mugs or clocks (yes, clocks), view Redbubble or deviant Art [dA].
